Strangely, the confessional urge seems to be a lasting human impulse--and even in this age of unadulterated freedom and extremes, still, people simply want to confess.
Once, confession was a means of cleansing and absolution. Now it is more often a method for being heard--or simply expressing oneself in a way that seems individual rather than packaged. Ironically, we have now packaged (viz. this very blogging service)our "individuality" of expression.
So I launch this blog with little purpose other than placing a landmark in cyberspace--a homesteading effort. Welcome to my small piece of real estate, reserved for future confessional moments.
